Once again the question of women's rights has been raised and this question has been raised by tennis legends Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova.

Both the women players have opposed organizing the Tennis Association final in Saudi Arabia citing gender inequality.

Tennis greats Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova had argued through an article that there is no gender equality in  Saudi Arabia.

Women do not have freedom there; therefore Saudi should not be given the opportunity to organize the Tennis Association finals.

On January 26, an opinion article by tennis veterans was published in the Washington Post in which it was said that the Tennis Association final should not be held in Saudi.

Saudi Princess Reema said in her statement shared on X (first tweet), 'The game should not be used as a weapon.

A weapon to promote personal bias, agenda  or punish a society eager  to embrace tennis and  contribute  to its development.
